Weisbrod Health is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our team in a broad-scope rural practice in Eads, Colorado. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice full-spectrum medicine in a supportive, close-knit community while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

This role offers a rare chance to care for patients across clinic, emergency, inpatient, and extended care settings, allowing physicians to practice the full range of their training while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.

Position Highlights

• Full-scope rural practice
• Clinic, emergency department, inpatient, and extended care coverage
• 36 hours of patient-facing time per week
• 10-hour clinic days (9 patient care + 1 administrative hour)
• Rural Health Clinic averages ~400 visits per month across 3 providers

Call & Inpatient Coverage

• 8–24 hour call shifts (noon–noon)
• One weekend of call per month with Saturday half-day clinic
• ED coverage while on call (approx. 55 visits/month)
• Manage inpatient admissions, swing bed patients, and extended care needs
• Average inpatient census ~1.2

Emergency Department Support

• Non-designated trauma center focused on stabilization and transfer
• 24/7 support from Avel eHealth, including:
  • Board-certified emergency physicians
  • Critical care nursing
  • Clinical pharmacy support
• Integrated EMS through county ambulance service

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $350,000 – $400,000
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
• Medical Insurance: Fully covered for physician and family
• Paid Time Off: Up to 7 weeks annually
• Retirement: 401(k) with up to 3% employer match
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
• CME: $5,000 annually + 5 paid days
• Malpractice Insurance: Including tail coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required
• 3+ years of experience preferred
• Rural or Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
