Lead Family Medicine Physician with an Inpatient Focus
The MetroHealth System is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with expertise in inpatient and outpatient care to lead our Family Medicine inpatient team and oversee the inpatient service.
Position Highlights:
- Provide clinical oversight for FM inpatients.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure our inpatient training meets ACGME requirements.
- Serve as the liaison to the hospitalist division.
- Work closely with residency leadership, OB faculty, and clinical teams to optimize processes, and drive performance improvement.
- Uphold MetroHealth’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of care and education.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with a non-restricted Ohio medical license.
- Board-certified in Family Medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency
- Strong skills in POCUS, inpatient clinic care, and teaching residents and medical students.
- Ability to meet MetroHealth credentialing and privileging requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor residents
- Foster excellence in clinical care and education.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and support innovative care models.
