Nuvance Health is seeking a fulltime Primary Care Physician to join our largest and highly respected primary care practice located in Danbury, CT—a vibrant suburban community in Fairfield County, just 70 miles from New York City and adjacent to Westchester County.
Join a wellestablished, highperforming team of nine physicians and two advanced practice providers in a collegial environment known for exceptional care and strong community relationships. With close proximity to Danbury Hospital, collaborative specialty support, and minimal oncall obligations, this role is designed to help you thrive clinically while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

We’re seeking a compassionate, missiondriven physician dedicated to delivering comprehensive, teambased care for a diverse adult patient population. You’ll partner with skilled multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting wellness across an entire panel of patients.
You’ll also enjoy working in a fully outpatient setting with a stateoftheart, systemwide integrated electronic health record, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across hospitals and practice sites.

Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 70 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four-season recreational activities. Home to Western Connecticut State University, Danbury has abundant local historical, cultural, educational, and recreational attractions. The area has highly rated public and private school systems and universities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train, car, or bus.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and CT State Controlled Substance Registration
- Successful completion of Internal or Family Medicine Residency but the practice sees Adults only
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- After-hour coverage – light call volume to physician, shared among multiple providers to decrease call frequency, phone-calls only (after nurse triages first line)

Salary range: $275,000 - $285,000 annually commensurate or relative to experience.
