United Community Health Center is an expanding Federal Qualified Health Center located in Green Valley, Sahuarita, Arivaca, Amado, Vail, and Three Points providing a medical home for the medically underserved population. The Family Practice Physician provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in a community-based, federally qualified health center setting. This role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education while addressing the unique needs of medically underserved and diverse populations in Southern Arizona. The physician works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high-quality, culturally competent care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Promote patient education, preventive health measures, and self-management of chronic conditions.
Collaborate with behavioral health, dental, and specialty care providers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) per FQHC and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care team meetings, and community outreach activities.
Provide supervision and mentorship to medical residents, students, or mid-level providers as appropriate.
Adhere to FQHC compliance requirements, including UDS reporting, HRSA guidelines, and clinical protocols.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Current and unrestricted Arizona medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
Current DEA registration.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
